LaShanda Crawford, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree in social work from Delaware State University and more than 15 years of clinical experience. My professional background includes work in community mental health, substance use treatment, and hospital settings, where I have supported children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges.
I specialize in helping young people and families heal from traumatic experiences through structured, evidence-based, and supportive interventions. In addition to TF-CBT, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical tools that promote emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful, long-term change.
I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care that helps clients feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing journey.

Sonia A. DeWalt, LMSW, has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare system, with a professional background in case management, medical social work, therapy, and behavioral health entrepreneurship. I provide therapy services grounded in a client-centered, culturally responsive approach, supporting individuals and families as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and complex systems of care.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Springfield College and my master of social work from Delaware State University. I am currently completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) at DSU, with plans to defend my capstone in August 2026. Advanced scholarship and real-world practice inform my work, enabling me to bridge theory and application in meaningful ways.
I am committed to creating a supportive, empowering space where clients feel heard, respected, and equipped with the tools needed for growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

Shamecka Drafts, LSW, a licensed social worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Widener University and more than 15 years of experience working in this field. My experience includes providing domestic violence services, hospital‑based care, community programs, family visitation centers, and mental and behavioral health facilities. In addition, having extensive experience supporting individuals within the IDD community. I am deeply committed to supporting adults navigating difficult challenges, providing a strength-based perspective while fostering hope, compassion, and guidance. I provide a safe environment for building trust and understanding of their struggles. I understand that individuals who seek counseling may have difficulty trusting a therapist and sharing painful thoughts and feelings associated with their struggles at the beginning of counseling. I am committed to showing genuine concern for their well-being and to providing a setting where individuals can disclose painful events that affect their lives. I use motivational interviewing as a treatment modality to gauge an individual’s readiness for change. I meet clients where they are and work along with them to develop healthy coping strategies and foster resilience to effectively address their struggles. In addition, I also have a passion for working with adolescent clients (ages 12–17) as they navigate identity confusion, personal growth, academic demands, emotional regulation, and healthy relationship skills. I walk alongside individuals as they grow through self‑esteem issues, life transitions, and trauma recovery using a strength-based perspective. I specialize in working with individuals with ADD/ADHD and those within neurodivergent communities as they recognize their strengths, navigate life with confidence, and tap into their commitment to change. My practice is rooted in trauma‑informed care and strengths‑based treatment that honors each person’s individual resilience and creates space for meaningful change. I offer a compassionate and client‑centered space that creates a collaborative relationship and builds a therapeutic alliance. In conclusion, I believe any work you are passionate about is your purpose.

Stacey Roberts is the scheduler and intake coordinator at Minds in Motion Mental Health. I serve as a first point of contact for clients and families, helping them navigate the initial steps of care with clarity and ease. I coordinate appointments, complete intake processes, and ensure each client is thoughtfully matched with the appropriate services based on their needs.
My approach centers on compassion, organization, and clear, consistent communication. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, so I work to create a welcoming and supportive experience from the very first interaction. By fostering a smooth and responsive intake process, I help set the foundation for meaningful engagement and ongoing care in each client’s mental health journey.
